Why do people feel so compelled to share!?
Although we can't answer exactly why people do it, we can definitely feel your pain and share a laugh with you.
Some TMI moments shared by our readers.
When I was pregnant with my first child my mother and I were having, at first, a loving, bonding, extra-special in everyway etc...moment.
I said, "Mom, do you remember the exact night I was conceived."
She responded, "Of course I do. Daddy and I were fighting and I said to him, "Can we fight later, my temperatures up, I'm ovulating, we have to do it now!"
Just when she saw how disgusted I was already, she blurted out, "We did it Doggy Style. How could I forget?"
I will never forget. It was an end of the year pool party. One of my best friends had just come back from being "intimate" with her honey. There were probably about 40-50 people there, all on deck in a crowded area when she comes up to me and says, "I just had the best orgasm."
Like many in my 40+ age group, fibroids and our age can create some "interesting" periods. Mine typically look like a crime scene, especially during that dreadful second day of my cycle. One morning my 3-year-old son stood by, quietly observing as I changed the bed sheets, revealing a mattress pad with numerous patches of brown, dried blood spots on my side of the bed. He processed it for a moment before exclaiming, "Mama, you need to be more careful when you're drinking chocolate milk in bed!"
My friend Audrey has been trying to get pregnant for a long time. One day over lunch I ask Audrey how things were going with the babymaking. She said, ''I am so mad at my husband. He knows he's not supposed to ---- off the day we are trying to conceive.''
''How do you know? Did you walk in on him?'' I asked.
''No'' she said. Before sex I give him a little so the rest of the process goes quicker. Anyway, his ---- smelled like my cucumber melon hand lotion.''
