Please read the following disclaimer. It’s very short but very important and a necessary part of your WorkingMomLifeline experience.
WorkingMomLifeline.com, its owners, contributors and most of its visitors are having a very real conversation. This very real conversation will, often at times, include very real language, very real terms and very real words that you might not regularly use in conversation with, say, your boss, your parents, your elderly aunt, your child’s teacher or the cashier at your local grocery store.
These are the words you would, however, use with your best girlfriends when discussing just about anything about your kids, your job, your spouse, your stress level or any other area of your life. These are the words and terms you might use when you felt no inhibition and no fear that “they” might find out that you sometimes talk that way. These are the words that you might see on an HBO program but not on your local news.
So the point of this disclaimer is this: Please don’t be offended by some of the words and terms you read and see on this site. They are all part of the very open and very real community we are creating here. You certainly don’t need to use these words or terms (ever) to make your point or have a conversation. But please understand that some of us do, that there is no need to take offense and that, at the end of the day, we’re all in this together.
Lots of love,
Allison & Debbe
